What is a Minecraft Datapack?
The data pack system provides a way for players to further customize their Minecraft experience. Data packs can be used to override or add new advancements, functions, loot tables, predicates, structures, recipes and tags without any code modification.
How do you create a Minecraft Datapack?
Well there is the Hard way and the easy way for now I will explain how to create a datapack the easy way,
Step 1. Visit NbtData's Online Datapack Generator .You will see some form fields to fill out like the image on the left.
Step 2. Fill out all the fields.
Step 3. Press the Blue Generate Datapack button.
It is that easy the site will zip up a template ready for you to download and put straight into you datapack folder.
